Ryan Plett

Ryan Plett, Creative Director of Style Seek and author of TravelWell and YHBTI visited us at LSW this week during his visit to Oahu. It was nice to meet another extremely passionate individual in “the business.”

I was able to spend some time with Ryan taking him around to some of our usual spots such as Side Street Inn and Gaku. Ryan was gracious enough to feature some of our time together on his websites. There’s a bunch of amazing pictures of Oahu. Please take a look and spread the word!

Alden Shoe – Lady Calf Flex Slip On Chukka (LSW)

Our latest Alden release is the Lady Calf Flex Slip On Chukka on the Copley last.

The Copley is a seldom used last but very underrated in our opinion. Similar to the Aberdeen last but with more room in the toe, the Copley fits true to size and has a nice classic round toe shape.

Soft lady calf provides ultimate comfort and Alden’s flex insole and oiled leather outsole make this chukka a joy to wear.

Our first collaboration with another retail store is about to hit shelves at Self Edge and Leather Soul on Saturday, February 18.

To me, this is a monumental step in men’s retail. I look forward to doing more of this in the future but for now am excited and privileged to work with my friend Kiya on this special collaboration.

Tricker’s – Elastic Sided Wingtip Boot (LSW & LSBH)

Our latest Tricker’s release is the Elastic Sided Wingtip Boot, our first Tricker’s shoe or boot not on the 4444 or 4497 country lasts.

For this versatile elastic sided boot, we chose the 2004 last, an elongated chiseled last. Coffee burnished calfskin and a black dainite sole round out the details.

A perfect travel boot, the elastic sided wingtip boot looks great with jeans, chinos, and heavier slacks.
