The first ever pair of shoes made with 1786 Russian leather by George Cleverley was a bespoke pair of brogues for HRH, the Prince of Wales.
George Cleverley has decided to donate 10% of sales of the new limited edition Verneer to the Price of Wales Trust, which focuses on young people in the UK who are not in education, employment, or training. For more information please visit: The Prince’s Trust.
The Verneer saddle shoe combines two of the most special leathers in shoemaking, 1786 Russian leather and Horween shell cordovan, to create a very special shoe.

What color is the shell cordovan, Tom? I can’t really put my finger on it, but there’s just something… special about this particular color.
James,
I believe it is #8 but Cleverley calls it burgundy.
Aloha,
Tom
