Horween Chromexcel (CXL) continues to be the most popular leather for casual shoes. Two years ago, we sat down with Art Tarlow, the owner of Alden Shoe and came up with these two models, our first in natural CXL.

Both models feature a plantation crepe sole.

The six eyelet is a great alternative to Alden’s stock #1339 chukka boot. The extra eyelets really change the way the chukka fits on your foot. If you haven’t tried a chukka, the six eyelet is a great way to ease into one.
